Good place to stay. A short walking distance to the Cracker Barrel. Clean and friendly. No issues with the room, place or staff.
I stayed there with my 2 young children and dog on my way down south. The person that checked us in was polite and quick. The room was a good size and clean. It had a bigger fridge then most hotels, which was nice. I really enjoyed the plush linens on the beds as well. The bathroom was very roomy, however I had an issue with the shower. I let the water run for 5 minutes waiting for it to warm up and it never did. I was thinking I'd have to brave it. I then turned on the cold water instead and that ended up being the hot water. Thankful I thought of that because I was a little upset at first. Breakfast was the normal Holiday Inn breakfast, it was fine as usual. The location is about 30 min. North of Nashville which is why we picked this hotel, so it was about halfway to our destination. All in all, I would stay at this hotel again in the future.
Solid Holiday Inn Express. As always the breakfast could be better but it is free. The rooms are clean as always. Free toiletries if you've forgotten them at home. Multiple restaurants nearby and a Walmart across the street makes life easy if you're getting in late. The staff could be a bit friendlier but they're far from rude. If management reads this, one suggestion would be to have the cleaning crew ensure that the drain plugs are left up, nobody wants to stand in a bath for their morning shower.
I'm back 2 months later and the staff is much better!
