We stayed for one night. Inside rooms were clean but exterior building really needed some cleaning. Showers felt really small in height, especially the shower head and I'm 5'4". Our air conditioner wasn't working properly so it was fairly warm in the room. However, our parents room was really cold. Room smelt fine, no musky smells. Linens were clean and comfortable. Bed comfort itself was okay but not great. You could definitely notice it was recently updated.
Roaches and A MASS FLY INFESTATION! Was by the garbage or anything! My and my husband killed over 16 fly's in one night. THE TUB WAS HORRIBLE! DIRTY AS HELL! We had to stay that night because there was no other place we could go right then, it was late! We went to the restaurant to to eat, a $50 meal. Came back to the room, put the left overs in the refrigerator, woke up to see the refrigerator open and roaches crawling out of it! That was it! DO NOT STAY!!!
Terrible service. Cleaning crew only comes around every 3 days when you stay a whole week. I asked for extra trash bags & they only gave me the standard 2. We have our 5lb pup with us so we have to pay $10/day extra. They gave us the crappiest room. It has a tear in the wall. The bolt on the door is broken. The shower curtain was full of mold. Crayon marks on the wall. Stains of God-knows-what on the walls & carpet. Blankets are full of holes & cigarette burns. The fridge doesn't cool properly. You think that since we are paying $10 extra they wouldn't give us the ugliest room in the entire hotel. The man that walks around with the cleaning crew is rude. I went over today to purchase another week (we couldn't find another hotel with weekly rates in the area). They informed me that as of yesterday they changed their pet policy so we would not be able to stay here. Well good riddance. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE STAY HERE! Find yourself another hotel. A decent hotel. This one is run down and not worth your money. Seriously.
If i could share no stars I would. This place is absolutely disgusting. For the first 20 mins of me getting settled in my room I spent it killing flies. The smell of cat piss and curry made me sick to my stomach. The carpet had so many stains on it. I didn't take my shoes off. I almost slept on top of the blankets with my clothes on. The owners should be ashamed and embarrassed with themselves!
Location is a little obscure but it does have a Mexican restaurant within walking distance, which you might want to go to since their breakfast was pretty bad. They actually served cold oatmeal that look like it was uncooked. Unfortunately it tasted that way too. The room was decent though everything was clean and smell nice. For the money it was a good deal
