I am glad that she has removed herself from a toxic environment, because now she will be able to fully grow to the potential she is capable of. Just a tip for the future: Happy employees equal a happy company.
I worked for this company and unless you are a favorite among the supervisors, you are not treated well.
My mother started working at this location when they first opened. She gave that company 4 years of her life. She was dedicated and hard working. But even so, i saw the neglect and negativity begin. There was a few stories i still to this day can not believe happened to my mom. She started at the bottom and slowly worked her way up. She was given a raise maybe once while people below her with less responsibilities made more than she did. She was there early in the morning till sometimes very late at night. She was constantly being worked over and over and over. She worked more than her stated hours. And when she was told to work over time she did. Not because she wanted to. But because she didnt want to lose her job. Because she wanted to prove herself. And even then the amount of overtime stacked up far greater than the time she was actually paid for. There were times when she was harassed. There were times they lied to her. More than once. I saw her mentally and emotionally hurt by her own coworkers and superiors. As her daughter i have nothing but nice things to say about the strong woman i know her to be, and plenty to say about QRM's lack of professionalism in the work place. I hope that for the sake of the company that they will invest in a better Human Resources department, managers, and employees. As of right now, you have lost one of your finest that wouldve done anything for this company. That itself speaks louder than the words i have typed out above.
