If you love salty unforgiving customer service (like a saltlick in an ocean of tears) and don't mind slightly higher prices, then ACE is the place for you! One huge positive note: this business constantly gives to the local community in various ways and should continue to do so to stay relevant.
I always have such great a experience here. The customer service at a home town hardware store just can't be beat.bto contrast, I was at Walmart getting some other things and figured I'd grab a few bags of top soil while I was there. Bad bad idea. After waiting a rediculous amount of time for someone to check me out at the garden center, than an ungodly amount of time waiting for an employee to come load it in my car, I decided to just drive away, get a refund later, and go to ACE. Not sure why I didn't just think to go there first! As I pulled up a young man was walking out and asked if I needed help before I even got out of my car. I told him how many bags of top soil I needed and he literally loaded them while i paid. I'm not exaturating when I say I was in three maybe 3 minutes. And it wasn't like I was the only person in the store. Miss Coleen at the front desk is always so helpful too. A true gem here in White House
